Iris Catanesi filled with Cream

If you visit Sicily, the Catania area, among the various specialties that you can find in a bar, there is one called Iris – yes, same as my name 😜.
This fried dessert is made of a milk bread filled with cream, which can be milk-, chocolate- or ricotta-cream. Italians usually call them a “bomb” of goodness and calories, which you have to taste at least once in your life!
